By public transport
The bus departs from the Central Station in Arnhem. Number 3 runs regularly to Burgers' Zoo and in addition number 13 runs extra services during holidays. The bus stops right by the entrance. Unfortunately, the so-called 'strippenkaart' is no longer valid in the Netherlands. The 'strippenkaart' has been replaced by a special chip card for public transport facilities. Age-related reductions are only available through this special chip card.
Exact service times can be found on www.9292ov.nl or use the Route planner.
Be careful: Number 3 buses going to "Alteveer", "Alteveer/'t Cranevelt" and "Velp" do not go to Burgers' Zoo!
Parking
Burgers' Zoo has a large car park. You buy a € 3 token from the ticket office that you use to open the barrier when you exit the car park. Burgers' Zoo is not liable for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents thereof.
Do you need a disabled person's parking place? Please ask one of our parking attendants on entering the car park and they will allocate space for you. Please bear in mind that parking attendants may not be on duty during weekdays in winter.
Passengers arriving by coach must alight at the allotted place in the car park. Parking attendants will assist in this to make it as quick and easy as possible. Once parked coach drivers can collect a token from ticket office 1.
Bicycle racks are situated in the car park near to the entrance and next to these are a number of hard standing places for motorbikes.
